Best Songs to Exercise to, Top songs, Good music Style
What are the best songs to exercise to? You may say that it's not necessary question because it doesn't matter. Actually it does! I am not going to give you now examples of poorly picked exercise music. Let's focus on what style of music is the best. Obviously dance music. Now what genre of dance music? It can't be too simple so it can't be pure techno or deep house music. Especially that you deserve a little bit of fun and want to enjoy a little bit of melody. The rhythm can't be too complicated and from the other hand vocals or melody can’t take over the rhythm. Beats and percussion accents must be clear and stressed.
In practice then the best music for fitness, aerobic or any workout is funk music and all commercial house music versions of dance and pop songs (funky house, latino house, vocal house, dance). Funky is the best for fitness dance classes because of its easy march style. If you prefer to exercise to your favourite pop tracks there are plenty remixes out there. Soon we will give you some examples of the best songs for fitness or workout.
Best Workout Music Mix
We know already which songs or what kind, genre or style of music is good or the best to exercise. Now, let's think for a second what kind of mix is the best for our workout. There are at least a few mix styles (not mentioning music genre). However, generally we can say that the best mix for exercises will be something with smooth, fine mix transitions. Technically it's exactly the same idea and similar way of mixing to standard club mixing. The most important rule is to keep the beat and rhythm stable all the time. No sudden changes, no special effects and typically non-stop beat. Fitness mix can have some quiet moments but there must be some kind of rhythmical instrumental line left in the background. This will allow you to be able to feel the rhythm and keep the tempo of your exercise routine, even if it's not dance-like exercise but standard gym workout.
